Salvestrin Sauvignon Blanc |
Tasting Note: This Sauvignon Blanc is a blend of grapes, 56% from CDV (Clos du Val) State Lane Vineyard in the Yountville Appellation and 44% from LeBlanc-Crystal Springs Vineyard in the St. Helena Appellation. This wine was tank fermented and aged six months in 70% stainless steel and 30% neutral oak to preserve the bright crisp citrus and tropical fruit flavors that pair nicely with many foods! Plainly, this wine is loaded with fruit. Aromas of white peach, pineapple and grapefruit overflow from the glass. On the palate, the wine is crisp and fruity and yet refreshingly smooth with a wonderful lasting long finish of peach and honeysuckle. A truly delightful experience.
